If the dinner choice was the restaurant La Sirena Clandestina the bar to visit afterwards is Beatnik. A spectacular mix of industrial hall, French bistro and botanical garden. The main rooms feature several Versailles size chandeliers. Below them a hip clientele enjoys excellent Mezze and drinks of the same excellence. A favorite is the “Second Fiddle” a new twist of the Whiskey Sour with Bourbon, lemon, pineapple, turmeric and sumac (the spice gives the fruity-earthy drink an oriental tone).
If you are ready to escalate it is time for a visit at DISCO. You only have to pass through the long unpretentious bar Celeste and enter the elevator at the end. Surprise! On the third floor a small but very cool 60ties and 70ties glamour world is waiting including an LED dancefloor, three enormous disco balls and retro wallpapers that features black and white portraits of Andy Warhol, Rod Stewart and other icons of the disco era. The music is like the floor, a colorful fluorescent mix: from funk, disco, hip-hop up to everything that makes you shake around.
