He's brought to Chicago a Spanish taberna (Black Bull), a Miami art district (Fulton Market kitchen) and a boho Parisian Cabaret. But what Bonhomme's Daniel Alonso really wants to do is dance. "I felt there was a void in Chicago for a place where you could go boogie" he says of DISCO, the '70s-inspired nightclub he recently opened with the founders of Celeste. "I designed and conceptualized things out of my own personal sense of nostalgia," says Alonso. "And then hope there are a few like-minded people who are vining off them too."
