Chicago's Stylish New Club, Disco, Just Opened its Doors
Almost 40 years since the 70s came to a close, and we still have boogie fever (and the only prescription is more cowbell). The latest addition to the club scene in Chicago certainly satisfies that need to shake it.
DISCO, now open above Celeste at 111 W. Hubbard St. in River North, brings all of the swag of the 70s. You can expect to see everything from fur sofas, to shag carpets, to disco balls (obviously), to a wall-to-wall LED light up dance floor, to a mirrored ceiling. It all comes together in a modern style, however, so don’t expect it to look like you grandfather’s long lost man cave. DISCO takes things that you would never expect to look cool again, and makes them look awesome.
The only food they offer is pizza, but honestly what else would you need? Cocktails are $13, or you can get bottle service for $400 a pop. With choices like Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire, and Maker’s Mark, we’re thinking that’s the way to go. If you’re more of a champagne connoisseur, you can get your fill as well. They have 25 varieties to choose from, so you can sip the perfect glass of bubbly as you dance the night away.
If you’ve been looking for the perfect place to show off that wide-lapelled orange suit or silver sequin cocktail dress, this may be the perfect place to do it.
